Hi,
I'm a student at St. Pete. College. There, all of the classrooms have digital LCD projectors. Some of the College of Education classes have a camera dock which they call an Elmo (Why they call it that is beyond me!) It's so cool because you can show the students any kind of papers, objects or anything you want them to see, and they don't have to have a clear background like you need on an overhead projector.

I love using my projector to show off cool websites I've found and tagged in Delicious. Making rhythm charts on the computer is also much easier than making them on posterboard!!!

In most schools every single student comes through the music room, so its an excellent place to put technology that you want everyone to get to experience!
